I don't say it's a bad story, but more than erotica is almost romance because of how slow it goes. But if your intention is to publish gay adult novels, go for it!
I started this series with Book 10. I was eager to see if Habu's (Amazon pen name) style had changed between books 1 and 10. Not at all. He's a splendid writer from the get-go. It's not often, in my experience, that a writer of erotica is also a cracker jack craftsperson. Not surprising, I guess, as Habu's career seems to encompass lots and lots of productivity, over a long time.
It's also super erotic. It comes close to what I call "pure erotica", for a story with a decent plot.
