Neat

There can certainly be twists in a short story, as you've shown. :) I wish there was more, but then I always do with stories I like.

Wonderful short romance

Very nice short romance. I guess Drew wasn't the only one with a premarital surprise. Good for AnneMarie, she ended up with the best man of the bunch! Good writing job!

Hello 2xWidderwoman

As always a very well written story. Yes you are good at short stories. Hell your good at long stories. You are just good at stories full stop. This site needs more stories from you. As I am now mainly a reader I would like to see a lot more stories like this one. Regards GW

Oh my!

Tight, well-written, with a lot of story for so few words! That it had a happy ending was even better — hot damn, its a good story that has a wise, older father making up for his flaky son. LOL!

More, I say, more!

A very good short story

A fast paced story, and always to the point. I have thoroughly enjoyed the author writings of the past, and a short story just adds another facet to her ability as an all around writer. The story was a surprise to me at the length of it,but writen with elegance of a true Southern Belle. Well done Widder, always a good read when the story has your by-line...........Rich

Wonderful

I loved the characters, I loved the setting, I loved the romance. I would have loved to have read more, but this was a wonderful piece, and incredibly well-written. Thank you.
