An excellent story with great attention to detail. As one poster mentioned, several stories within the main story keep the reader's attention focused.

Allusions to well known works are also clever and interesting. A VERY good contrast between the environment of the New Ritz Poodle Dog Club and the waiters. I would like to read more about this setting and its waiters, with great detail regarding the "dichotomy" between its workers, environment, and patrons.
