This is a good story. The last page of this chapter is in direct response to my comments of chapter 1. Bill appears to be the most honest and sincere in the use of his powers. He wants is mother to have free will. For the first time, I guess the mother realized she may not been able to exercise her free will with Dan and Thad. The possible psychological damage done to the mother could be disasterous. Her trust and love she has for her son could be destroyed. Likewise, she realizes the love she had for her deceased husband and grandfather may have been a shame. This story has me hooked, as klong as I do not overthink or psychologically analysis the motives and actions of the characters.
