I loved the story at first. I enjoyed the characters and the overall feel of the story but it ended on a bit of a sour note for me.

That was a great story, but an alful ending...

until Carlotta saw her death. After that I couldn't hold back my tears. That's such a beautiful, wonderful story. Made even more so because it was written in first person. I wish I lived there with the "zoo" - what a privilege it would be to know Grandal!

When one writes a story it is with the hope that we will touch something basic in our readers. I can not help crying by stories end. This may never see a best-seller list but it is one of the best most successful stories I have ever read.

To be completely honest, I am a grown man. I do not cry often. The ending of this story brought me to tears. It started a bit iffy, but it grew on me. Damn you. THE FEELS

Crap depiction of love. I doubt you really are in love with someone if you can just disappear for years at a stretch even knowing it hurts everyone involved

A wonderful story. There is just enough sex to land it in Literotica, but the story is one of love and life; sex is only a small part thereof.
