... a decent read (it features sex with a ghost, has to be NonHuman), despite the constant changes from 'him' and 'his' to 'me' and 'my' and 'I'. Your editor should have helped you with that really, and the site shouldn't be giving 'Editor's Pick' flags to stories with such basic errors in. Again, though, that isn't your fault. In NonHuman without the errors would have been five stars, so four awarded. I shall look for your next!

Have to disagree about catagory. While there was sex with a ghost, it was secondary to the romance between Helen and Geoff.

The story has been SUPERB to the end of page 5 but slightly paled out in the last page ( page 6 ) when the role playing is introduced which need not have been/could have been avoided. But then again the end has been compassionate & good. Hope the same trend tempo reflects in other stories of the author DeYaKen.

I agree with some of the others. The spanking was a completely unnecessary interruption of the narrative flow. If Helen wanted to plant her flag in the office it could have been done more romantically, in keeping with the rest of the story.

Also, there was a paragraph or two where the grammar completely fell apart. The verb tenses, pronouns, and possessives were all of the place.

It got my five stars, though.

I've read this story twice because I enjoyed so much the first time, this story is going into my most favoured list. Thank You for a superb read, keep the excellent story telling going.

but giving more details on the fates of his ex wife, simon and Ian would have made it better. for example the reaction on the exwife 's part on knowing his businesses other than motorcycle dealership including his acquisition of his old company....

I thought the role play was a cute end to the story. I am not into abuse or BDSM, but the play spanking was a clever way to show how they had moved forward, gotten comfortable with each other, and continued to have fun in their relationship. This was a nice, feel-good love story. Well done!

...but very well done. Enjoyed it immensely and loved the way he gets back his Company and Staff. What betrayal and what retribution! Bit awkward the paragraph on page 4, where he makes love to Vanessa. It's a mix of first person and third person narration. Good ending. 5*s.

I really enjoyed this story! The sex scenes weren't long enough .. for me that is. As a woman, the passionate love making are my favorite parts to read! However, the entire story made up for it especially in the end when Geoff got the happy ending he deserved.

A man devoted his life to his family first then his company which supported his family.

Gets betrayed by his family and one of his employees he got the last laugh.

I liked the way this was written and even his son was shown to be a back stabbing greedy punk.

All bases and back stories were covered. Betrayal goes deep in this tale all betrayals got paid back in spades except the ex-wife she allowed the snake to gain access to begin the betrayal.

Its funny, at first i thought this was set in the cape. Truro and all that. The dunes are huge there too. Probably why it was named as such 300 years ago

The supernatural element was a bit silly and nonsensical. I'm not a fan of such things if it isn't a fantasy setting where it's a part of the worldbuilding.

In stories like this one, it just feels like a lazy plot device the author doesn't bother to explain.

Loved it start to finish, including the supernatural aspects, which gave the story an interesting spooky edge. 5*

An excellent go straight from the gate, transitioning easy to follow with an ending that one would have to expect… well most of the ending. Love the disposition of young Ian and the best revenge f all with Simon. Only one nit-picker: POV switching continuously in two back-to-back paragraphs with Geoff. None to worry as third person POV is confusing to all. Still 5* my idea of “Revenge doth taste sweeter when served cols.”

(10/29/2022) Well done! This was a wonderful read. Having Vanessa give them her farewell at the end was a nice touch. I bookmarked this story more than a year ago, I’m glad I finally got to it. Five stars and it goes on my list.

Good story. Jackie got played. All these stories where the wife thinks the silver tongue suitor is telling the truth about their husband cheating and never confront their husband or seek proof. Sigh. Jackie meant nothing to Simon. He was just making a corporate play. Glad the MC found Helen. Surprised it took them this long to agree to get married. The one part I don't find remotely plausible is the son. I don't see a 17 year old son regardless of being sometimes at odds with his father EVER siding with a man who seduced his mother. Even lies would bit sway the son. If anything by 17 that would engender real hate for Simon. Being provided tuition for school would not mean crap once truth was revealed. Here the son is just a worthless piss ant. Again not realistic. Jackie being seduced, backstabbing the MC in the boardroom and the bedroom, then with buyer's remorse is believable. I suspect the author turned the son against the after despite being 17byears old, so as to make the betrayal so numbing, the MC felt no recourse but suicide.

Love this story every time I read it

Jackie is a the prototypical cheating wife who is a sucker for a silver tongue and acts without proof of.her husband's purported infidelity. Whatever. But I agree with prior Anonynous comment from 4 months ago, that starts with "Good story. Jackie got played." The 27 year old son being easily turned against the father and hitching his wagon to the slimeball Simon who fabricated everything is just not realistic. Unless the MC was abusive to Jackie and%or his son or was a drug addict or alcoholic or something that made the son ashamed of the MC, then no way.
