We all stayed in the courtyard as they maneuvered their vehicles and turned around. I had to laugh at Logan's ever-impressive ego as his vehicle has a large ace of spades dominating the back window. Standing in silence, the pack waited until the last vehicle disappeared down the road before breaking up and returning to whatever they were doing before the interruption. It was several minutes before Rasp turned around and looked at us.
"They've cleared the gate," he said a wry smile coming to his face, "and as for the two of you interrupting my weekend." Walking towards us, Rasp wrapped his arms around and flung us up onto his shoulders before taking off at a run, carrying us towards the packhouse.

Anonymousover 2 years agoTerrible lack of character development and I wish there were some subtlety - your characters barrel through the story like Mack trucks.
