The general public would expect an employee to handle "difficult" behavior graciously, but behavior that is "erratic" can justify calling in security, which makes the latter the word of choice for describing customers who the employee believes will prove obstreperous -- or merely obstinate. Nobody in any industry describes their customers as "difficult". Well ... not in public.

3. You don't have to be Chuck Norris to kick someone's ass, and there's video online of airline security removing someone from an airplane with ... more force than was strictly necessary. And don't believe for a minute that whoever called security in that case didn't describe that passenger's behavior as "erratic". ;-)

The aspect that I find most questionable is the insistence of the airline employee that they need that specific seat. A typical airline deals with overbooking by making an announcement calling for someone willing to voluntarily relinquish their seat, accompanied by an offer of "compensation for the inconvenience" (read: bribery).

None of that was slightly realistic but it was hot so whatever.
