Just a short notice that Chapter 2 has just been submitted and Chapter 3 is also ready to go in this 3 part series.
Ian56 has captured the essence of Victorian (Edwardian?) literature: outward respectability hiding private debauchery. Hope to read more from this talented author.
VERY hot and properly written in the tone/language of the time.
Looking forward to the next two chapters!
5 + a fave story/author.
Since she is a widow, Lizzie should be called Mrs. Armitage, rather than Miss.
My fancy often turns to era of corsets and bloomers, and this is beautifully written, with the perfect combination of elegant formality and earthy crudity. Bravo!
Found a major faux pas; married woman in Victorian times would be called Mrs. never Miss. even if a widow. She may go back to her maiden name, but never would she be a Miss again.
