And here's why. Why would a teacher use such foul language in front of a younger former student? And why would she address him as "kid?" So I figured, "Why waste my time. It can only get worse!"

So the veteran teacher calls the new teacher "Kid" that seems reasonable. not sure why anyone would fuss about that.

The language is shocking, but I"m old. i was surprised to hear teachers would talk about the "tits" of students.??? that sounds like a fire-able offense.

I would definitely read a follow up. I admit I couldn't help but want the storyline to go farther with Lucy. Also, because of the name and the type of class she's in and the reputation of this certain porn star, I kept imagining the student as Lucie Wilde, despite the rest of the description not really matching.

That I like a happy ending. Even if you continue this, we know from your later stories (where shannon is older) that she is still not in a solid relationship. This will end in heartbreak for one or both of these characters.

Honestly the pacing was a bit slow for me. I felt like we were halfway through and then a love interest was basically introduced. This is hyperbolic, but we go from 0 on page 4 with no acceleration to staying the night on page 5.
