That's a fair question. I think they mostly blame each other, though, and comparing notes would mean helping each other. Nellie sees Jim as a tool whose identity isn't important, and Yoriko sees him as a co-conspirator who she's not going to rat out.

I guess in another sense, I didn't have them catch Jim because that's not the sort of ending that blows my skirt up.

I'm a bit late to the party but great story! My headcanon has Jim and Yoriko ending up together at the end. Clearly there's an attraction there and it'd be great to see him take responsibility for her (and only her).
