I liked the basic premise of this and the writer has a really fantastic vocabulary, which kept the long descriptions of sex from getting repetitive, Unfortunately, I think it works against the voice in the story, since the more scientific descriptions of body parts are out of place in this story of Eva's discovery of pleasure at the dawn of time.

A new an interesting approache to an ancient story. Good reading, it worked for me.
