Monica did not care enough about her son to hav e sex, as opposed to make love, with him by themselves. She had to invite James. As one who has no problem with mutually consensual incestuous love in real life, Chris should have simple walked away. Realizing his mother has no more respect for him than she has shown through the preceeding 4 chapters, Chris deserves nothing.
