Wow

True love overcomes all complications. Different type of tale than I'm used to reading. A welcome difference. Well done.

Fantastic

Congratulations on a well written story on what can happen suddenly. Good medical detail, and well developed characters. Should be higher than five, but I can't do that, thanks for a different refreshing read.

Fascinating and well told story

The accident took a while to piece together. His quick reaction was a one in a hundred chance. My only objection is that the trucking company's actions seemed a bit beyond the present day experiences with insurance....

Mostly medical

This is an inspirational story extolling the vital necessity for knowledge and resolute action, medical skill, personal toughness and initiative, ability to look forward instead of lamenting the past, and many other noble attributes.

What it isn't (maybe just 'not yet') is an erotic story! If it IS a series, I would MUCH have preferred the author add 'chapter 1' to the title!

2*

A Rough Read but Eminently Worthwhile on Multiple Levels

I suspect the author's ease that he disclosed messy details of physical & mental reconstruction was hard earned on some level. For this reader who gets queasy with body fluids leaking here & there, this read bordered on stomach flipping. Yet at no time did I feel it was being done in a gratuitous manner.

On some levels, I thought the story took shortcuts. Few corporate entities handle accident settlements so generously . I'm not saying they're out to cheat victims but the settlement process is usually much more strewn with bureaucracy.

Likewise the story faded out at crucial erotic & disturbing moment . Odd since the author had dispersed the gory & pain without opting to be fastidious. Still this was an insightful & largely compassionate read & I thank owengraybeard for sharing.

Sensitive and thought- provoking

but not a bit erotic.
