But why rush in the end?

I felt it fitted in with the story theme, just enough detail to figure out what happened. Too many stories on Lit go into prolonged graphic detail. I wanted the reader to use his/ her imagination. The brain is the body's main sex organ.

There is nothing wrong with graphic detail. Intense descriptions fuel the imagination, they don't take away from it. When I want to use only my imagination, I take a shower.

Too many stories use graphic detail is like saying the Avengers movies have too much action.

It's totally dependant on choice. I personally don't get much out of very graphic stories so I tend to write less graphic ones and let my readers use their imagination. Any stories that give me an H rating - and I have several - means others enjoy what I write and that's what keeps me writing. Also when I comment on other stories I don't hide behind 'anonymous'.
