A guy determined to stay on a self destructive course - it's more common than we wish to believe. But in terms of dramatic value, I have to wonder. The guy is his own worst enemy, not really any of the other characters. So where is the dramatic tension? Potentially in him learning how to evolve from 'wimphood' to an assertive person. So far, I have to say that it is quite agonizing to follow his mindless foolish decisions...
