very realistic start. Even more amazing, you managed to show real life in an interesting way. The only issue that I saw was the multiple time frames for "reassessing the relationship". Frequently Initial contracts are for 1 or 2 months, and then offered on a yearly basis. No that is not a written rule anywhere, just what I have seen in my 30 plus years as a Leatherman. Until you get like me and at this point Mistress and myself have been together so long, there is no more contract. We just are. Also there are many Mistress (or Master, yes many Mistresses I know including my own do identify as Master and in fact are "covered"),, do allow slaves to use the furniture, unless situation dictates otherwise.

I really do wish you had continued on with this story, as it is very good and the most honest one I have seen here in fantasyland known as Literotica.
