The story seems to have some potential and might be hot but I found it almost impossible to get past the grammatical mistakes. You have a definite story to tell and I want to read it, but can't. I question if English is your first language - it seems to me it isn't,

One of the big problems is verb tense. You keep forgetting to add the "ed" to make verbs past tense. Also, you could use some variety in word choice when beginning paragraphs. Too many of them seem to begin with "After."

To repeat, the story itself is good, as are the characters and story flow. It's your mechanics that need work.
