I was enjoying this until the last part. In my opinion you should of left John as just a donor and Cathy's lover/partner and no sexual contact with Janet or Mandy . I know you tagged incest but silly me thought as a lesbian story it was going to the sons girlfriend / fiancé or a female family member of Mandy's . It also seemed out of character for Janet as you had written her to that point. It spoiled it for me. Well written and up to that point a good story . I liked that you tied 'playing the blues' into this story, which I have enjoyed very much.

Sorry, but I genuinely have to agree with Stroudle here.

I knew before hand where the tale was going, then when it appeared the son would be the donor, well that was fine.

The actual story was so engrossing that the ending still came as a surprise, but one which was maybe a step too far.

I'm with Stroudle on this one as far as the final part of the story goes. It was fine prior to the family orgy from which point it went swiftly downhill. Sorry, but it's nowhere near as good as "Playing the Blues" which I am enjoying very much. While "Janet" is well-enough written, it lacks the plausibility of "Playing the Blues". Keep going with the latter---it's a winner.

If you are going to start having so many lovers in the mix you need to assign them numbers so we can keep them straight. Still waiting for the next Playing.

until the son got involved. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't because of the incest. That is one of my favorite categories here on Lit. It is that I do not consider it a Lesbian story if there is a male sexually involved. Using the son as a donor was fine, but then Mandy and Janet having sex with him, turned it from Lesbian to bisexual and kinda belonged in a different category.

Like others have said, looking forward to a continuation of the Blues!

Astonishingly, I did not really mind John being involved because that incident evolved naturally. But there is one thing that seems strange to me; here as well as in "Playing the Blues": How fast do these women move from straight to lesbian. Now I can quite believe that these feelings are hidden and need aomething special to come out. But at least there should have been some hints; some noticing in advance that she finds women hot even though hating or trying to express that inclination ...

But your women are believably straight ... and after one or two days complete lesbians. I do not know any lesbian with such a history. Either they felt it from early youth or at least had some history of "trying not to think of girls when masturbating" or something.

But it is well written, so I am curious what else will come from ahaz ...

I’m a little confused by the actions of two of your characters. The mom has a painful background, but that is easily overcomed by Her son and her wife. Also Mom goes from strait to married lesbian to incest with her son in two or three months as far as I can tell. Time frame was not clear, but the lesbian marriage was incredibly fast.

My only other main concern is that the most of the story revolved around topics which belong in the fetish category rather than lesbian. It seemed to me that the lesbian couple was almost incidental and could have happened to any couple.
