Well...I love your writing and the ability to bring the characters to life. He though is a complete and utter asshole of a Dom. I'm not sure if you intended to write him that way, but he is doing nothing short of bullying her the whole time. He said at the start that he would show her how BDSM is done properly. There are a lot of triggers in this story. You might want to warn people at the beginning - scarring, severe bruising, asphyxiation, humiliation on a bigger scale.

I agree with previous commenter that we don't have BDSM done right here at all. Saying it, doesn't make it so. She's not safe. She can't trust him. He is not a dom. He's a bully. She's in so much trouble for own self. He expects her to be what he imagines her to be, not what she is.

Will he be blackmailing her with those photos? I find it odd that you haven't addressed this very obvious and immediate concern of anyone being photographed as she has been.

You've created a world that does not illustrate any true human psyche of the real world, which is generally the one thing I personally need from any fantasy story be it Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, The Beauty Trilogy, or sexy funtimes fantasies written for fun and offered free to all comers (pun intended) on an erotica site.

I commented on an earlier chapter that it's your fantasy world and it's your story to tell. You don't need anyone's permission to make up any number of completely unbelievable reactions to trauma and abuse as well as create unrealistic psychological profiles. I still believe that and wish you well.

I have reached my limit. You've hinted at asphyxiation, which I can't tolerate even in a fantasy story. You're foreshadowing permanent scarring for our heroine, which is a horror that takes me out of any super-sexy fantasy story. Red. And, I'm out.

I like the story, I like stories about the struggle to trust and let independence go. I also like the earlier chapters when she really was recovering still and fighting the fear that came from bad experience.

I liked this man when he was just helping out a victim, but I'm seeing him fall a bit for her and she is getting attached too. I'm sensing submission with romance!

I am really looking forward to the next chapters. This story reminds me of AlwaysYes' writing but edgier. I love all of the breadcrumbs that you have left. Jared is a mystery and what is the deal with the detective? Also, her nightmares are not aligned with the earlier abuse, is there something more? What about the repeated references to not sleeping on her stomach?

I'll never understand the stupid men's rules. Started out liking this since he seemed to be honest and straight with her, fixing what had been broken. Instead it's back to "Do as I say, whenever I say." "Trust me just because I said so, not because I've earned it yet."

Unfortunately this is not BDSM. Fantasy fiction BDSM but like the EL James books and The Story of O (of both this author has borrowed certain practices from) and not factually representative or accurate of real life BDSM. As someone who works in medicine (but not in America) I find people are not educated about this, or ignorant and some who don't have 2 brain cells to rub together. They have seen in Free Porn online (and the toys online) and America is the biggest maker of porn, that the porn actresses has cleaned up the Anus and rectum and has been lubed (and that's not shown, ever) Men and boys see Anal sex to vaginal sex without using Condoms or washing the penis, DP and switching places and the porn actresses are gritting their teeth and trying to fake orgasm's (porn online and written Is Fantasy Sex) but mostly men/boys believe what they see or read, if they are not educated about this (both boys and girls should be before they start having sex). Most of the books have ended up in charity shops. The Author has very few followers and doesn't write anymore. I wonder why....
