After the first chapter I almost didn't read this one. The lawyer is such a total dumb ass, who thinks with his little head a lot more than he does with his big one, that who knows how he passed the bar in any state. I loved the line in the first chapter where he doesn't want to go out with the local girls because of fear of STD's but he porks the daughter of the county slut. What a genius.

Frankly, this has been painful, not because you can't write, but the characters are so pathetic. The deputy is exactly why a lot of people instinctively dislike cops, but of course you wrote him that way.

So much hating on Kentucky. What has it ever done to you? (Or should I say "all y'all".)
