Interesting read

I really enjoyed this, you’re a wonderful writer.

I can feel a touch of modern in this story, yet I truly wonder how well a woman (or women) would’ve been able to live without a man or family, in the male dominated world of the 19th century.

I’ve read up on a lot of history and while I like the story, I know without a doubt that women were considered incompetent in everything except the running of the house, especially in England. So, the solicitors arranging it so Elizabeth’s money didn’t go into her husbands accounts is a bit far fetched.

But at the same time, it is a well done story of fiction.
