Jillian laughed then gave me a shove. I laughed with her until she gave me a deep kiss.
"Good-bye." She said.
I froze in place before asking. "Did you brush your teeth?"
Jillian picked up her purse without verifying the contents and made for the door. I called to her loudly for an answer.
"You'll never know." Was her reply before she left.
I laid back down and thought about sleeping. I knew I came on her face, but I didn't remember if her mouth was open.
I closed my eyes then readied myself for sleep to take over. After a few restless minutes I got up to brush my teeth.
