If someone doesn't fire that idiot FBI agent then they need to use him for fodder!!! They need to Steve to tucked away somewhere safe for awhile so people will quit shooting at him...LOL.

Lots of those folk put their lives on the line every day and the fantasy that some kid will know all and do all while they won't makes a fun story but contributes to the sad belief that kids know more than adults.

I will agree with you in general that youths do not know more than adults, but that being said not all kids fit that statement and we all know adults that didn't get into line for brains because they thought someone said trains.

Uncommon sense and valor are just that, uncommon and are not the sole reserve of someone who has 21+ years on this planet. Think of the young girl from Pakistan who was almost killed by the Talliban(sp) for wanting to learn and become educated. Their response to the world's praise for her valor and heroism, we'll try harder to kill her next time.

I agree not usual, but not of the realm of possibility.

But how about the thought that someone is always re-evaluating government employees and people learning. This agent did not learn anything the first time around. How the evil spirits are out to get this particular school? Usually when people get burned they stop grabbing the pan...

in all my years of reading this is one chapter that left me with one thought "DAMN" . In one part I'm happy that there was no cliffhanger, but at the same time I am yearning for more RIGHT NOW. THAT WAS THE FIRST TIME I READ IT FOR THIS CHAPTER, second time was not as intense, but i still felt that i had to right a respones to this chapter and vote. a five

Yet again Uncle Joe is not invited.People who spurned Steve's parents and ignored him in Paris,get invited,but the person who put a roof over his head is totally ignored.What a fine upstanding role mode!l Steve is.

Instead of Complaining about Uncle Joe not being invited again and not going to France I’d suggest you go and reread when he was introduced into the story and how he doesn’t like leaving his home, let alone travelling and Gwen really had to convince him to attend thanksgiving as he would have been happier at home eating pizza watching the football

How come Ted as no family and what happend to Kate's boyfriend Mike?.

How come Charlie knows Becky when they have never met and at the airport how can Lisa tell the group they are already checked in at the hotel?.If the author stopped mentioning on every page how they all love one another,plus the constant referrals to acts of heroism,the author could have saved several thousand words which would have enabled him to get his chapters out a lot quicker.

This is my let's 6th time reread. Its fantasy opera. This is how we wish thing would happen. We who have served would be proud of the kid. Yes it BS but it's what we want to be true.

Uncle Joe is a viet vet. He has people issues. He wont wan to be around people. Yes ok I'd this was a printed novel there should be more about him. But it's not. This is free sand HDN has donr a good job at spinning a yarn

The president,can't be talking to Steve and Andrews at the same time and why would the president just happen to watching TV,let alone that particular channel,yet more garbage.

How did Naomi get to the graduation and where is she staying?Where does Jordan sleep when Lisa is at home?.The terrorist would not have left the van unattended and even if he did,there is no way he would have missed the broken window.Having attended the first terrorist attack,there is no way the FBI agent would have reacted as he did.

HDK deliberately put in all these omissions to entertain the " mr. Unhappy Anon" !!!
