Funny dig at the president re Paris attack/funeral. The guy is doing things in his lame duck two years that has the public loving it, and the Republicans fuming....Obamacare is working; gas prices are way down; employment up, Republican written reports say no scandal with Benghazi or the IRS. What's left to complain about? Not attending a funeral!

when is steve getting a promotion.

As always you have added another great effort to this story. I like the compassion the characters display and the loyalty they all show for one another. I certainly hope Steve remembers that Gwen is a civilian and can do and go pretty much when and where she wants. He better call for permission to go to France ahead of his boss before he ends up AWOL . Like all your readers I anxiously await the next chapter. Thanks HDN
