Not the happiest of stories, but it's real and it's well done -- in terms of craft it's the best one in this series. Nicely done--

I won't say one word of complaint, we were warned in the very beginning. I would love to ask this wonderfully talented writer, what enjoyment she gets out of writing such a depressing story.

Read it again. Amazing writing, but story and characters every bit as bad as your warning stated.
