It would be highly erotic if in the next chapter, they fucked down in Mr. Livingston's bedroom. Perhaps David finds out that Mr. Livingston had been encouraging Mrs. Livingston to take a lover and in return, he gets the satisfaction of watching his wife receive so much pleasure. Also, it'd be nice to know how old Mr. and Mrs. Livingston are.
