Yep, no charges filed against the deserter, except MAYBE some time off- not, alas, in the brig. But he WILL commission his sister to Prime command without any tactical military training. Sheesh, not since the Red Lensman... Where does an assassin cult get the scientific and manufacturing wherewithal to produce cutting-edge tech? just askin'

Oh yeah, A Major wears gold oak leaves; a Lt Colonel wears silver. A full bird Colonel wears a silver eagle- hence the term: 'full bird'. Though this is fiction and not a docudrama, how does a Commander (navy rank) command enlisted privates, sergeants (army ranks) as ground forces? Enquiring minds and all that...
