A lovely story, full of sadness and tragedy, but also love and hope. Wonderful drama, 5*.

How does a man write this? Impressive. If you treat your wife as your lead character does his you must have a very happy wife.

. for making me feel like an inadequate POS the day before a holiday. Actually, a good thing to help me focus on what is important in life, although I suspect the degree of his righteousness is a bit of fantasyland for most mere mortals.

As sweet as the relationships Tom enjoyed with Ann and then Trisha, a sense of sadness tempered the feeling of love and connection to nicely conveyed in this story.
