Thanks for including the tension with Rose and with Grandma: it made the story more real, as well as including the acceptance with Mom and Dad. How he explained Shavonda to the kids was priceless.

To the commenter about Shavonda having a baby-

Even though she has her period & ovulates, she may be unable to carry a baby due to the abusive damage done to her.

Side note- if I had a drink for every time I read the words “my queen” in this story, I’d be dead already.

Another great story. I like every thing about meeting this family as well. And yes I enjoyed the way he introduced the kids to Shavonda.

The tension with Rose and Grandma made the story that much more exciting show how they loved each other so much more.
