Click hereArriving home just before sunset, Shavonda found a small white box stuffed in her mailbox. It had a return address for a company called JstLikeUs. I grinned, I knew what it was.
"I wonder what this could be," Shavonda mused. "I didn't order anything. And I've never heard of this company." She opened the box. Inside was a wedding cake topper, with black bride and white groom. Just like us. "Jason, did you?" She saw my grin and knew. "Where did you find this?"
"I was browsing the web and I came across this place. They specialize in decorations for non-traditional couples. You can order these in any race or gender combination you want. Notice, the bride has hair just like yours was when we met."
"I love you, Jason," she said. "That was sweet." She kissed me deeply. All was finally right with the world.
To be continued...
Damn! That scene with the recipes actually had me in tears. Beautifully done!
So much going for it. Authentic story, situations, confrontations and reconciliations. :)
Thanks to all who have read this far.
@buxom
the previous part was rather raw, but yes, their actions, extreme as they were, have finally brought them peace.
@ everybody Re: baby
Jason's mother certainly thinks Von has one in the oven, We'll have to see where this heads. All I know was that seeing my sons live birth was one of the most beautiful things I've ever experienced. Jason missed out on that experience. It would be great if they got a chance to share that.
I'm not even usually a fan of long multichapter stories, but I'm really enjoying this one. I, too, am hoping for a miracle baby. :)
(on an unrelated random side note, the security code is 56DD. LOL)
Nice series. The story line is better than the sex and the sex isn't bad. Keep up the good work.
