She'd turned in his arms and snuggled into the warmth he provided, playing with his dreadlocks with lazy fingers.

"Well I'm glad you are my real family now Leify. You were right to get me a new cellphone so I can't be bothered anymore. I just keep worrying now that they are going to mail me those exoccumincation papers. It says a lot of awful things about how I'm no longer in the Church because of my sins. I know I'm not in the church because of how that family treated me when we were buying our wedding cake. I don't need them to deliver me that stupid letter," murmured Lynne.

She hugged Leif tighter around his neck.

***

The idea of this letter, and whatever the hell was said in it in her cultic religion really disturbed his little Lynney and because it disturbed her so much, it disturbed Leif too.

She needed him and he didn't care when or where she clung to him when she needed him, it filled his heart up with a warm surge of manly pride, a sweet loving urge to dote, protect, and care for her, a primal urge to give her sexual pleasure for comfort. He felt a bit guilty that what was so painful for Lynne made her cleave to him and bound her to him even closer but he wouldn't fight the sweet longings that either of them had.

They were put there for some reason by a higher power to draw the two of them closer. So Leif could learn what it meant to be a real man and husband and put his wife first, and so that his Lynney could have shelter and security.

"So there's not gonna be any letter if you don't want it, you hear me, your husband won't let them hurt you again and give you any damn letter," murmured Leif, dotingly raking his fingers through her hair, straightening her pretty curls on her shoulders, tousled with her running, and crying and burying herself in his arms.

"They write that letter for everyone, they read that letter probably a month ago, but they also deliver that letter to the sinner, and they are gonna try to give that shit to me. I'm so stupid, thinking they were calling me because they were in need, or about our wedding. I don't want that damn letter, it just makes me feel like I'm a horrible sinner, and like I failed," murmured Lynne, distressed.

"I know, I know baby but that letter doesn't mean anything to anyone outside of the silly mind controlled church. You are not a horrible sinner, you know that. We've been over that before. Besides, they can't give a letter to you anyway. They don't have your number anymore. You moved from your own place. They don't know where we live. The only way they could get it to you is if they bumped into you in a store or something. They aren't gonna carry it around with them. Even if they did, you can refuse to accept it, that's your right, you don't have to play by their rules. It's over now. You have a new life now, and you've won," murmured Leif.

"You're right...but it's just embarrassing to me, and they want to give me that letter still to humiliate me, and remind me I couldn't measure up to their religion," murmured Lynne.

"Well I don't doubt that, but we are not going to let them win. You are an honest woman now, and you always had a pure heart with me, so you have nothing to be ashamed of. The letter is full of shit, just like they are. I won't say what else I think about them because it got me in trouble earlier," said Leif playfully winking at her.

The fact that she still had respect for them when he imagined them slapping her across her beautiful face when she was a teenager for just a tiny bit of sass showed him what an angel she was. She didn't deserve to be tormented and he was glad she was a smart cookie and hadn't given away her number. Finally the torment and abuse from her bullying parents could come to an end. They couldn't even puppet her emotionally if they didn't have her number and couldn't call.

She felt so good in his arms, and smelled so sweet, and he just wanted to comfort her. It was all he could think of, as he smelled the fragrant vanilla of her hair. Just supporting his baby and helping her get over this one last hurdle. And then when they got back to NYC, lovingly suggesting a bit of therapy.

"Now you can say it. Now that I know that my mom just wanted to see the wedding pictures so she'd have an address to excommunicate me, I'll say it for you. Fuck them," said Lynne.

"Well I'll drink to that. Fuck them. Well, let's get on with our little shots game. If you win our lose we'll find a way to punish you since you like punishments," said Leif with a husky chuckle.

"Your punishments are full of pleasure and love, different than anything else in the whole damn world," said Lynne.

She looked at him with milky brown eyes full of love, peering at him for several seconds before nuzzling his nose with her adorable nose!

"Well that they are. And you know what darlin', you need to get good at shots, because we'll be doing a lot of them for your very first special twenty-fourth birthday extravaganza," said Leif.

"So we're playing twister, and we get shots, what else are we gonna do for my twenty-fourth birthday?" asked Lynne rubbing her hands together with glee.

"Whatever else I can think of that my baby would like to do that she's never done before, especially since it's your first. We're gonna have a great big cake too. All the candles. So much fun for my princess," he vowed.

And he had to look away. Or he feared that he would cry. No reason in hell the sweet little thing should just be celebrating her first birthday. He cursed the cult in which she was raised, vowed everyday to make it better for her, and though he was sorry she'd seen the very last cruel side of her parents, he was somewhat glad that she saw their final, true colors so that she could stop reinjuring herself with the pain over, and over again.

She needed a good, lengthy amount of space from them for her wounds to heal and for them to either prove, or disprove that they wanted her in their lives.

His eyes felt watery. No more suffering for her, and now he wouldn't even have to hide their phone calls now that she'd changed her phone number. Even if she hadn't changed her number, there would be no more phone calls because they'd fucked up that much putting their cult of a religion first until the very bitter end, which he was sure, this time had finally cost them their daughter unless they really changed!

When he looked at her out of the corner of her eyes she was crying. But they looked like tears where she was purging her soul of pain and there was a happy rainbow on the other side. Finally after months of turmoil, a new life.

"Can I have whatever kind of birthday cake I would like?" asked Lynne.

Such a sweet, simple request. Asking about her birthday cake. Little angel. Hell yes she could have whatever she wanted!

"Your husband would bring you down a piece of the moon if you wanted me to make a cake out of it. Anything. A wife can have anything she wants for her very first princess birthday. You pick the flavor. You pick the shape, and everything. Maybe we'll even make it a birthday weekend. Just for my baby. Yep a first birthday should be special. A birthday weekend. A party and some other fun things. Some things you'll share with all our friends, some things just with your little hen girlfriends, and some things, just for a husband and wife on a special weekend all about your twenty fourth birthday," he added mussing her hair lovingly.

"I'm sorry I was so sassy to you. You only wanted to protect me. No one's ever done that before, so sometimes I get confused and I..."

"Sshhhhh. No harm done now. You were learning about yourself. You'll know better than be sassy the next time because you know I have your back right," he added playfully.

He hushed down her fears like a teddy bear and playfully slapped her bottom, which made his groin tingle.

"Now your sassy ass needs to prove what a big woman you are and drink some of these shots baby girl," said Leif.

He spread out the menu with abandon. After all, before any of the ugliness transpired with her parents, he'd wanted to take her into this bar for shots after they'd completed the shopping trip. He'd actually looked up the bar yesterday.

Lynne looked at the menu with eager eyes.

He decided to tease her.

"Oh no, only good girls get to pick their shot off the menu. Naughty girls have to sit on their husband's knee and let them order for them, and if they get drunk, oh boy will their husband have their way with them!" said Leif playfully.

He pulled her up on his knee unashamedly in the bar, wedging her cute, sexy little ass close to his thigh and looked through the menu.

"She'll have four shots, three beer one hard liquor. She'll have the horny freak, the naughty nelly, even though her name is Lynney, let's call it a naughty Lynney. She'll have the devil's horn, and also, she's part creole so she'll have the ragin', Cajun' rum," said Leif.

"All that shit Leiff I won't even be able to stand up when we're done!" quipped Lynne, giggling.

"Well that's the general idea my lady, and then we'll be waiting for round two of the punishment," said Leif chuckling naughtily.

"And what will you have," demanded Lynne her arms playfully folded.

"Oh just one small gin and tonic," added Leif.

"What the hell, I'll be all buzzed and unable to walk straight and you won't even be tipsy!" squealed Lynne.

"Hell baby, I'm the designated driver. Besides you don't need your faculties for what I'm gonna do to you," murmured Leif playfully.

He made a deliberate glance at her perky little nipples showing through an adorable red and white gingham shirt with a cute little vintage Nintendo shirt underneath. The shirt was fashioned after the controller. He'd saw her put it on this morning and he knew that her perky little knockers were barely concealed by the game pad and buttons. It was sensual, profane confection, the glorious juxtaposition of her womanly desires and girlish behavior, and he adored her. He understood her just as she was, and she was really perfect to him. Cute, and sexy but not immodest! He grabbed a handful of her hair and just inhaled.

And he groped her cute, shapely little ass!

"You're so fucking naughty!" peeled Lynne giggling.

"Hey now, you like me naughty. You married my naughty ass. So drink up! The man doesn't have all day and he just poured you the first shot. You better lap it all up and get all sloppy drunk so we can be on to the next adventure, the punishment when you lose," said Leif.

"She won't lose. I have faith in her. And I'm glad you found your husband. He had a long ass face when he sat down in here," said the bartender.

Lynne looked at Leif full of pain and shame. He was just trying to do the right thing for her, what he felt was right at the time and she'd hurt the man so bad he'd come into this bar not really to drink so much as to vent his feelings to someone who understood. And now that she knew the outcome she wished more than ever that she'd listened to her handsome king!

"Hey dude you are breaking the code. What happens in the bar is supposed to stay in the damn bar. I'm supposed to tell you about my problems and shit, and you're supposed to keep a lid on it and then I'll give you a nice tip. But since you can't keep a lid on it-" said Leif waving his hands up in the air.

Lynne giggled, spitting some of the beer.

"You're supposed to keep that in your mouth young lady. Top my wife off sir she's a cheat," declared Leif, pushing the shot glass back towards the bartender for more beer.

Leif only dared carry on this way because the bar was empty save the two of them.

The bartender chuckled.

He filled Lynne's beer back up a bit more and slid it back towards her.

"He's watching every sip you take you better not spray him with anymore," said the bartender and he winked at her.

Lynne chuckled.

"You flirting with my wife bro? First you tell her that I came in here crying, and I didn't, I was sad but there were no tears, now you're gonna wink at my woman, that's not gonna fly," said Leif.

Lynne felt even more guilty...he'd been really sad when he'd sat down in the bar. He'd started off mad but he'd ended up really sad. She'd hurt him, even though she hadn't meant to.

"Don't let him threaten you. I'll tip you myself if I can finish all my shots," said Lynne.

"Oh I hope so for you, or it sounds like he's got it in for you," said the bartender.

"I love it when my husband has it in for me," murmured Lynne, pulling her fingers through his dreadlocks and kissing him.

"You're a lucky ass man," said the bartender.

"I know it!" said Leif, proudly and playfully slapping Lynne's ass.

***

"Shots, shots, shots, shots," shouted Leif and the bartender.

Lynne was having the time of her life. She guzzled the first two with no problem. She'd enjoyed getting hammered with some of her close girlfriends away from the watchful eye of her parents growing up.

But it was the first time she really drank like a champion under the watchful eye of her husband. She'd drink a few with him, but never like this. But while she didn't think she'd be able to complete all of the shots, because she already felt a little tipsy, she didn't mind the proposition of losing.

She wondered what her punishment would be. A good spanking? Some playtime in the new sex swing with more luscious orgasm denials? She couldn't fucking wait to know.

She playfully picked up he beer glass in her lips, tipping it up, no hands.

"Damn this is the proudest day of my life, my wife does a shot, no hands," said Leif, playfully snapping a picture, while Lynnes eyes grew wide as saucers.

"Oh my god, what are you gonna do with that, you better not put it up there on instagram, our kids might see it one day!" shouted Lynne swiftly wiping her mouth with the back of her adorable hand.

Leif chuckled.

"Believe me, by then I'll already have so many stories about what a little hellcat their mother was in their younger days they'll be no surprises there," said Leif, his blue eyes twinkling with mirth.

"Oh, you!" cried Lynne slugging him on the shoulder.

"Still beating me on the shoulder I seem to recall not to long ago, you and I were sitting having a coffee when we first met and you punched me even then. I knew then I'd be a battered man and I married you anyway," said Leif batting his adorable blonde eyelashes.

"Oh please, this damn bartender knows that you are so full of shit," said Lynne.

Leif guffawed with laughter right along with the bartender.

"Ragin' Cagin' coming up!" said the bartender.

"No, no, no, I fold, I can't, I might need him to help me back to the car," said Lynne.

"After three beers! Then I do remember when we first met how you were swaying after you had just one and a half beers. I thought you were so damn cute. We gotta teach you to hold your liquor. Maybe it's that half creole bouncing around in you. Or maybe it's the little church girl still inside you," said Leif.

But he playfully tweaked her nose. Lynne was having the time of her life on this honeymoon with her husband. Laughing. Playing. Being nurtured and shown both adult romantic love and tender physical affection. Pushing some fun boundaries that had been taboo growing up, drinking in bars, having a little dutchie, skinny dipping with him by the moonlight. If you'd asked her what a perfect honeymoon would have been this would have been exactly what she would have chosen.

"You were right to try to keep my parents out of it. I'm sorry...I'm so sorry I spoiled it by being stubborn. Thinking they needed me because they were sick, or wanted to reconcile I..."

"Shhh. I've already forgotten it lovely so long as you have forgotten. We still have several days of fun left. I am just glad someone has a new cellphone with all the greatest features and a brand new, clean number where she can't be harassed anymore," said Leif, his nose lovingly in the crown of her hair.

"I really do love my new phone. I wish I hadn't bought that stupid music box though. It'll always fucking remind me of the stupid choice to call them on my honeymoon. And I can't take it back, it was on sale like that with no refunds. I should through that shit in the trash," murmured Lynne.

"I think it's okay that you can't take it back. And don't throw it in the trash. Painful though it is you need to have a reminder of just how silly they are and how they'd throw away all the love you have for them, however dysfunctional they are you still love them, for a silly church. I think you should repurpose it. I think...well I know I'll fill that belly one day. Give it to your daughter. That way she will always know that no matter where she is, you'll always love her. Give it to her, in the opposite spirit of the way it came into your life," said Leif.

"Shit. That is deep. You're so cosmically deep and that's why I married you. And that is exactly what I intend to do with it. Give it to my little one the opposite of what happened to me when I tried to give a gift. Maybe we should keep...start a hope chest for our baby if...well I don't wanna scare you," said Lynne.

"Oh Lynney, I look forward to being a daddy of your babies one day, you know that. A hope chest doesn't scare me, just makes the fact that I'll get you pregnant and have babies with you more glorious and real to me little mama. I think it's a hell of a good plan to put the music box, and other things for our future daughter, or son in the hope chest. You can collect things and I'll start collecting a few things too," said Leif.

When he talked like that, and loved their future like that, a new life that they were building it made Lynne swoon. And since she was already swaying, she murmured huskily in his ear-

"You need to tip that boy so that we can get started on a nice, long punishment for your naughty girl," said Lynne.

"Yeah, I would say so. It needs to be long, and hard, and lasting," said Leif enjoying their naughty play on words, rubbing her ass playfully by jamming his hand in the pocket of her high wasted jean shorts.

Leif tipped the bartender generously and escorted Lynne out of the bar, gallantly giving her his arm so she didn't sway too much.

***

Even completely tipsy, he felt a difference in the way Lynne gripped him now. He felt this complete trust and even a respect for him that he couldn't imagine before. She looked up at him fawningly. She swayed a little bit, and he steadied her around the waist, helping her into the Prius.

"Probably let you have a little too much," said Leif dotingly.

"No, no you didn't, now I lost fair and square so I want my punishment when we get home," murmured Lynne her voice slightly slurred.

"You'll get your punishments because you enjoy them coming from your husband, and you've had a painful afternoon and I think that a good, loving play session with your husband will heal you," murmured Leif dotingly.

He understood more and more Lynne's deep seated need for their tender world of love, sexual pleasure and playful, sensual submission. It was a space where she could relax and put aside grave worries, concerns, and cares that were much too large for her to face on her own.

And he felt so guilty. Part of the pain was the way he'd bungled it up. He'd really made Lynne worried by hiding the call, that he was keeping something from her, and her parents actually needed her, where if he'd told her about it from the very beginning, things would have been what they always were...the way they were now...he and Lynne against the world.

And while he didn't wish that on anyone, so long as there remained a huge feud between Lynne and the family who'd abandoned her, it was up to Leif to fill his baby up and make sure she got a sense of family and fulfillment that had been so sorely lacking. Still and all the way she looked at him, and her implicit-
