I'm not sure exactly why the ending left me feeling flat. Maybe I wanted them to remarry. Maybe I wanted him to make her pregnant. And their working for the business sort of got sort shrift. A better ending than the original but not really satisfying. Keep at it. At least you have the courage to put an punctuation mark to the stories out there with no satisfactory endings. The list is endless.

I have nothing but contempt for a man who will commit incest and ignore his own oath to his dying father just to get revenge. There is such a thing as becoming the devil to spite the fools. If your word means nothing, you are nothing.

I love it when everybody can end up being happy. What's not to like about that?

Not a bad one - but it did miss some intensity at the end - there was more early one and the bit with the sisters is definitely one for the Incest crowd (which is fine) but not what was expected since they were no ones idea of a gift from the gods LOL - bitchy, selfish, slovenly etc -

But the BDSM crowd will love the final ending - no ring on her finger - but one around her throat.

A good twist on the story from the original. The use of the collar instead of a ring was a nice touch.

Plus, about the promise to his Father. Situations and financial matters change, the Father is gone, don't get your bloomers in a wad. Time moves on, things change. STFU!

Actually kind of funny. It might have been revenge in the very beginning but it turned into a way of life. Not very conventional but it is what it is.

I like your stories and have given them 5 stars each but you need Text Aloud. You can use it to write your stories and use it to edit at the same time you write. Finish a chapter and use it to listen to your story and catch all the mistakes. I've helped about a dozen Authors here and they all agree and praise Text Aloud. An Authors best friend other than a Publishing Co.
