The story was fine but for the fact I truly find it difficult to believe the character Mary seems to accept everything that has happened calmly. She should assert herself and teach the guy and the others involved a lesson. I mean, come on surely if this happened in real life, the victim would have done something! Besides the guy is a jerk and deserves to suffer a little. That's all. Bye!
