OMG a character that does the same thing as my mother. Drinks coffee with a straw. Love it. Course my mother only drinks hers from a straw when driving.

A good snappy little story with believable characters and believable dialogue. Perhaps the ending was a little abrupt but that makes no difference to the story's quality. Well done.

I really liked Gray. she's cute and bear-like.

But the end left me feeling out-of-sorts.

Like Gray (and me as the reader) was missing something terribly important.

This is such a wonderfully well written story. I had the opportunity to read it in its entirety via sugarsnatchfiction.com and it was free. The many twists and turns kept me riveted to the pages on my phone. Maya has introduced me to a new author and I'm looking forward to reading many of KR's work.

Was a bit surprised when Maya took the lead but then Gray reasserted herself.
