I guess he/she is entitled to her/his opinion. I didn't assess the tale similarly. I have a crush on the Melissa character, so the only thing I didn't like was the rape by Mark or whatever his name is. I gave it a 5-star score. I hope there's more to this story; but, with the way Melissa's sex life goes, I suspect there is no way for it to ever be over in my mind regardless of how the author chooses to end it. So, JB, keep it up! I know I am!
