The story starts off fairly wild and then gets wilder and wilder. Woven around the almost nonstop kinky sex are some interesting explorations concerning ambivalence, respectability, and male double standards about female sexuality. I was intrigued to see, at the end, Joanne unrepentant and Susie following in her mom's footsteps. Or more accurately: Susie and Mom marching shoulder-to-shoulder ... into bed with an extremely lucky stranger. Credit to JB, too, for insisting that hot, sexy women and mothers of small children are not necessarily two entirely different groups of people.
