This is extremely well written! Skye is quite the nomadic seductress, but her past makes you feel for her. It will be great to watch the evolution of these two characters play out. I surely can't wait for the next update.

Nice beginnings.... I really feel for skye. A child abuse is scarred for life, it takes grace n care, and unconditional love for them to be able to live normally again.

Just hope u'll update sooner and not make us read ch. 1 again to be able to remember the story line...

Excellent story...I could feel Skye's pain she had from her young life and the pain she is still living with. She doesn't know anything else but pain and can't shake it off. Too bad Skye doesn't think she is worth more then life she is causing herself to endure.

I am so into this story already and this is just the first chapter. I love reading something different and this heroine is so different from the usual female leads I read on here (not to say they are bad but it can get kind of boring). So intrigue with this tale that I can't wait for the rest of the ride and see how Skye grows and adjusts.

What a great beggining. I have to say you tackled a difficult subject REALLY well. Fantastic. Your writing style is so intimate, like you could feel her thoughts.

I've read other non-human themed stories here and I have to say that this by far is by favorite. Most of the other "heroines" are portrayed and virginal or virgin-like, with only the heart-wrenching problem of not knowing how beautiful or special she really is. Ugh, I HATE IT! I like that yours is a little flawed and kind of a bitch, lol. Although, I don't agree with how she got that way, but tragically that is real life.

I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
