I took this line from the story to be the first line in my FetLife profile:

Thanks for your comment! I’m tickled that you like the “loving authority” bit. I do too, but I don’t take credit for creating it.

The “loving authority” of women is a key premise to the philosophy of Dr. William Moulton Marston, an early feminist who wrote lots of books on pop psychology before creating Wonder Woman for DC Comics. The Marstonite Sisterhood is my homage to the Amazons in his stories.

It seems Dr. Marston was also a bondage enthusiast. All his Wonder Woman stories (until his death in 1947) had bondage scenes in them. Well done, Doctor!
