Only one real comment about the writing, you need to learn to use commas. There were so many places where commas were needed (or other punctuation), but were not used. As a result, it did slow down the reading, causing me to have to reread a number of sentences. Otherwise, I enjoyed this first chapter, and hope that subsequent chapters are just as enjoyable to read. (By the way, I hope there is a loop hole that keeps Angie from getting half his pension -- she does not deserve it under these conditions.)
