Also to the fellow commenter who mentioned moving so they can marry many us states allow 1st cousin marriage and some others that don’t allow marriage recognise marriage if it is performed in a us states that allows 1st cousin marriage so they could possibly do that

I don’t understand the promise ring thing. It’s a ring to let a woman know that some time down the road he’ll get her an engagement ring and then ask her to merry him and then go get wedding ring after that. Why not just get the engagement ring or does a promise ring mean that the couple can still screw other people?
