...the uncle that helped his shy cousin. Think about that.

First you have a story about a supposedly young man that ends up with a daughter-in-law, and now you have two cousins that some how one is also the uncle. With Incest being a big issue according to the first chapter that's not possible. My only conclusion is you don't know how the family tree works.

But sadly it never lived up to that early promise.

The idea was good, but it just never delivered.
