Interesting story, but who is the friend? Why is his wife pissed off? Is she pissed? Or, is wanting payback of some kind? Maybe a divorce and wants to make sure he wants too?

The story is entitled My Favourite Worst Nightmare" so maybe this a dream? Can't see why this "dream" would be a favorite though. You write well, but this needed a little more info to clarify. Maybe, intended as an open ended teaser perhaps?
