As this is your first submission, let me say welcome. I enjoyed your story, and it seemed like something that could actually happen...in other words; believable. I'm sure once you read it after being published you'll find the few typos you made...don't sweat it, but just so you know, you can edit a work after publication of you so desire.

Also, like several others, I hope you continue this story of discovery. And in case you do have more to tell, just wanted to mention that you can make this into a chain series where all the individual "chapters" are linked together. Many find this a good way to continue a story about the same character(s). Thanks for giving us this to enjoy.

I found your name while following links to favorites and had to check out your story. I hope you weren't dissuaded from writing more because you didn't get a higher rating, I suspect that it would have done a lot better without so many typos. Your writing is fun to read and get into, I'd love to checkout more of your stuff if you get around to it. You can request editors on the forum, it should be easy to find one for a short story like this.

As yukonnights said, it sounds very believable. I suspect that it is a true story, no? If so you probably have plenty more to write about. ;)
