This chapter said in “all their fooling around, he had never kissed Gil or Dan” - but he did kiss Dan several times so that is an error that distracts the reader.

Why did he assume he’d never see Adam again. The guy was clearly interested in him and said he was the hottest he’d seen. He’d given him his cell phone #, address, and fucked him in his own home. Adam knew that “David” trusted him and was great at sex. And his wife knows that he plays with men. Nothing about this would indicate that he’d never see Adam again. Hmmmm
