Very good story up until the breaking of her Hymen with already a few inches in her it should have already been broken, I know I bitch about this too much but it takes away from the story when you don't know where the hymen is.

I got interrupted just before the defloration scene; came back, saw that they'd done the deed and Erica was sore. That was a definite plus. Upon rereading I saw that this is another case of the grossly misplaced hymen. The story would be a 3 on a do-over

but it did seem to be made of super-elastic before breaking. In general, I agree with the other commenters on this, but, there is medical testimony that some women have such thick and stretchable hymens that they can be very sexually experienced --even have multiple partners--before the hymen is penetrated. Meanwhile, other girls lose their hymens from horseback riding, gymnastics, etc. at a young age and long before they have coitus.

That's why using an intact hymen as a "test of virginity" is so ridiculous.

I agree with H.H. Morant that the heroine's soreness at the end was a realistic plus to the story. My major objection is that it wasn't very sexually arousing.
