Joe and Mandy didn't go to school in the short bus did they? Because you sure make out like they did. It's like they didn't have a brain between them. I couldn't get past the first few paragraphs...You just made them sound like they were 8 or 9 years old. I was going to say 12 years old but they would know more at that age then Joe and Mandy! Your mistake was having them finish high school. Still in primary school would have rung much truer!
