I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as the first chapter. The dialogue feels so mechanical and the prose still rather dull. Moreso than Chapter 1, somehow.

Worse than that, though, it seems so unnecessary to involve Jeff. It's not an iron law of the universe that erotic fiction has to feature blokes. I feel somewhat cheated, having signed on for about women.
