I'm so glad you've carried on with this, I enjoyed the first five chapters enormously and the mystery is unravelling nicely now. Can poor John last for six whole weeks without David? And vice versa?

As always the depth of your characters is brilliant and their narrative strong and true. Bring on chapter 7.

We are left guessing what David’s medical condition is and these two continue to make huge decisions without any discussion with each other. If this relationship survives it will be in spite of the many mistakes and blunders they’ve made that continue to hurt each other. Their brand of love is kinda toxic IMO.
