The idea is great. I look forward to seeing what direction this takes from here. The thing is, you've just barely scratched exposition here. Our protagonist has powers, now what? Try adding a bit more content to a chapter before publishing. That way the ending doesn't feel so abrupt.

This sounds like the start of a great story--please continue it!
